02 IN PROGRESS

Gravitas

MAPPING GRAVITY

C++ · PHYSICS · SIMULATION

A computational exploration of gravitational dynamics, currently expanding from two-body orbits toward general N-body systems.

Remark: Already done with phase-2,, but haven't had much time lately to improve

03 EXPLORING

Velvet Nightmare

BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING

IDEA · EXPERIMENT · UNKNOWN

A psychological horror game, that looks gorgeous and has a beautiful storyline...

Remark: Need to explore wayy more... And also the fact that whether or not my laptop can handle Unreal Engine or not... ❄︎ (As I'm a complete newbie in this field)

04 EXPLORING

The Forgetful Machine

A MACHINE THAT FORGETS (duh)

IDEA · EXPERIMENT · SIMULATION

A system that receives info and progressively destroys it.. Give it an image, sound, text, or mathematical object. Then introduce controlled information loss and visualize what survives.

Remark: Cool idea... perhaps I can connect it to smth like entropy, info theory, or compression? But visually it could be even cooler...

02 / GRAVEYARD

01 ABANDONED

ECHO

LEARNING SOUNDS OF A ROOM

IDEA · SOUND · PHYSICS

Record a room for a few seconds, extract its acoustic characteristics, then generate an evolving visualization/soundscape based entirely on them.

Remark: Too ambitious, I need to relearn the physics of sounds, resonance, spatial acoustics, reverberation, and what not... Too boring for my taste (I never liked studying Sound/Acoustics ☔︎)

02 ABANDONED

EVENT HORIZON

WATCH INFORMATION DISAPPEAR

IDEA · RELATIVITY · PHYSICS

A relativistic visualization showing how an observer sees something approach a Schwarzschild black hole, incorporating gravitational time dilation and redshift.

Remark: I think I already saw a guy make something like that, but better? I don't remember who, it was a random youtube video, but it was definitely cool... Not my cup of tea as of now (I'm still stuck on Quantum Mechanics, let alone General relativity)

04 / CURIOSITIES

01 COOKING

Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) connected to Energy Conservation?

My thought chain: TGA --> Aorta and Pulmonary artery switch position --> Oxygenated and Deoxygenated blood form closed loops --> Similar to Prof. Susskind's Minus-first law? (The die probability loop: page-4) --> Conserved quantities yet different states (T and V for Mechanical Energy) --> Similar to Energy Conservation?

Remark: I don't know where this will lead me, but I have a feeling I'm cooking something...

02 QUESTION

When do you actually understand something?

Is knowing how something works enough? Or does understanding require being able to rebuild it from scratch? Even then, is it even possible to truly understand something?

03 OBSERVATION

Why does beauty matter?

An equation can be correct. A machine can function. A piece of music can work... But sometimes something is simply beautiful... and that, somehow, seems to matter even when it has absolutely nothing to do with usefulness... why?
