Somewhere between physics, computing, music, curiosity, and whatever else manages to catch my attention.
02 / INTERESTS
Physics, mathematics, computing, chess, music, martial arts, language, books, design, hardware, and the occasional rabbit hole that consumes far more time than it was supposed to.
And as expected, I have never been particularly good at keeping interests separate. One thing tends to lead to another, and before long I'm learning something I had no intention of learning three weeks earlier.
03 / INSPIRATIONS
Newton 路 Einstein 路 Tesla 路 Euler
Fischer 路 Tal 路 Chopin 路 da Vinci
Different people, different centuries, very different pursuits. I like people who seemed unwilling to accept that a subject had to remain inside the boundaries everyone had already drawn around it
04 / THINGS I DO
I build things.
I study things.
I take things apart.
Sometimes literally.
I play piano and guitar, sing, play chess, train martial arts, write code, experiment with hardware, learn languages, read far too much, and occasionally sketch when my brain remembers that paper exists.
I've spent years around computers, programming and cybersecurity, and more recently have been disappearing into physics, mathematics and biology.
Most of the times, these things overlap.
That's usually when they get interesting.
05 / THE OTHER ME
There is also a version of me that existed long before I started filling notebooks with physics.
He liked stages.
Debates. Speeches. Recitations. Performances. Competitions.
I won debate and speaking competitions, performed songs, collected an unreasonable number of certificates, and spent years training and competing in martial arts, including state and national-level tournaments.
Those years matter to me for reasons that have very little to do with the medals themselves.
They were some of the years when I learned how to command a room, make people listen, think on my feet, perform under pressure, and turn ideas into something people could feel, while holding my own against people with far more experience.
That part of me never really disappeared.
It became one of the foundations of who I am now.
06 / A FEW ODDITIES
I'm left-handed, tho I've somehow taught myself to do a surprising amount of everyday life with my right hand.
I can solve a Rubik's cube in about a minute.
I've been involved in open-source projects for years, including five consecutive Hacktoberfest runs from 2020 through 2024.
At one point, I turned a Raspberry Pi into a tiny hacking device because apparently learning Python wasn't enough.
I once thought a double pendulum would make a nice little coding project... Trust me, it did not.
07 / WHAT I'M CHASING
I want to leave things different from how I found them.
Ideally, significantly different.
I want to understand enough, build enough, and eventually become capable enough to take on problems that currently look ridiculous.
I have no idea what the biggest one will be yet.
Perhaps I'll just know when I find it.. :)
